LIVE PERFORMANCE PRODUCTION
Weekly Events at Summit Orlando
As Summit Orlando Worship Minister, I’ve worked under a perpetual weekly turnaround necessitating new content deliverables and scheduling of volunteers, contractors, and staff. These weekly immersive events featuring music, video, public speaking, and more have often ran with 2-5 service times per day hosting anywhere from 700 to 3,000+ attendees.
Managing a multi-disciplinary team, I’ve worked alongside graphic designers and videographers coordinating assets, lighting designers programming show files, technicians creating stage docs and mixing audio, and, of course, public speakers needing notes, scripts, and stage props. As a Live Performance Producer, it has been my job to not only bring all of these disciplines into one accord, chasing down the same goals while staying within time and budget constraints, but also to step into any of these roles as a need presents itself.
Local Concerts
As a part of Orlando’s vibrant local music scene, I’ve had the privilege of coordinating concerts at exciting venues like the Plaza Live, the Social, Soundbar, Will’s Pub, and Summit Orlando. This work often included coordinating with vendors and countless artists (Tenth Avenue North, Gasoline Heart, Kyle Cox, etc.) to make sure all details were in place for the show date as well as navigating promotion, ticketing, contracts, and budgeting for these events.
Volunteer Appreciation
At Summit Orlando, I’ve had the privilege of working with hundreds of very talented volunteers willing to roll up their sleeves and create immersive experiences that inspire. To thank them for their hard work, we schedule and budget for regular Volunteer Appreciation Events. Over the years, I’ve helped to coordinate dinners at high profile restaurants in Orlando for 100+ guests, trips to Southern Hill Farms and Drive Shack, and even brought in SAK Comedy Lab for a private show. These events often require communicating with external vendors and coordinating entertainment for the evening.
