Since attending FIEA at UCF for my Master’s in Interactive Entertainment, I’ve continued honing my game design skills. Cultivating experiences and storytelling are at the core of every creative project I’ve worked on and I’ve yet to find a medium that has the ability to better showcase these strengths.

ASTRA, SPACE WIZARD: “CORVIDON PRISON BREAK” | UNREAL 4

Third Person Sci-fi Adventure

  • Created a story-based scenario necessitating creative problem solving

  • Tweaked timing to coerce player through level/story w/ NPC guide

  • Built architecture to emphasize a “Pac-Man” dynamic, increasing tension

  • Programmed villain AI to sense and chase based on priorities

WORD SAFARI | UNREAL 4

Educational Racer combining Rocket League and Wordle mechanics

  • Utilized Blueprints to create entire animated alphabet

  • Programmed 20 unique words to generate randomly w/ no repeats

  • Diagrammed and implemented a balanced terrain and letter dispersal

ZEPHYR | FIEA FINAL PROJECT

Airship Combat w/ Voice Recognition Mechanic

  • Collaborated with 15 artists, programmers, and designers

  • Designed level progression to expand user’s naval navigation vocabulary

  • Scheduled, recorded VO talent, programmed SFX in LUA

NBA ELITE Collectible Card Game | PROTOTYPE

Basketball Card Game made to simulate real in-game statistics

  • Researched and created mechanics to mimic real NBA statistics

  • Scheduled and documented playtests to inform gameplay tuning
